Brittany Young
As an Occupational Therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stockton University (Class of 2022), Brittany brings a deeply rooted understanding of movement, healing, and human potential. Her path to OT was paved through her experience as a professional dancer, aerialist, and acrobat, where she developed a passion for body awareness and functional movement.
Before transitioning into the field of occupational therapy, Brittany earned my BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Arizona and became a Fletcher Certified Pilates teacher. While performing professionally, she taught individuals of all ages about body alignment, posture, and core strength—always adapting movement to meet each client where they were physically and emotionally.
Multiple injuries inspired her to pivot toward her next chapter, and occupational therapy became a natural extension of her journey. Brittany started her career in Skilled Nursing Facilities, as she has always loved working, advocating, and bringing joy to the geriatric population. This passion was largely influenced by her early experiences with therapists due to her grandmother's strokes, her grandfather living with Parkinson's disease, and many of her family members battling cancer. Today, Brittany fuses her creative background with clinical expertise to help clients live more pain-free, fulfilling lives. Brittany believes in nurturing the whole person, empowering them to reclaim mobility, confidence, and joy in their everyday activities.
