Melanie Schuller
OTR/L, MSOT, CBIS, CKTP
Drawn to the blend of science, compassion, and human connection, Melanie thrives on helping people regain independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life. Her interest in occupational therapy began after witnessing her grandfather beat the odds and regain his independence following a severe accident, inspiring her lifelong appreciation and dedication to patient-centered care.
Melanie completed an accelerated five-year program at Elizabethtown College, earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy, graduating in 2021. She began her career in Boston, gaining three years of inpatient rehabilitation experience treating individuals with brain injuries, orthopedic trauma, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and complex medical conditions. As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP), she combines evidence-based techniques, hands-on interventions, and functional movement strategies to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
She loves getting to know each patient as a whole person, understanding their goals, challenges, and motivations, and tailoring therapy to help them succeed. She is committed to lifelong learning to provide the most effective, individualized care that helps patients return to the activities that matter most.
Outside of work, Melanie is an avid runner and rock climber, activities that reinforce her appreciation for resilience and the mind-body connection—values she brings directly into her therapy practice. Above all, she is dedicated to treating the whole person and empowering clients to reclaim meaningful, joyful, and independent daily lives.
